i got my own,brand new PC :D:D


(AOC 18" LCD monitor,Altec Lansing series 100 speaker,compaq USB keyboard+mouse,compaq Presario)

its simply a dream come true...
ive been dying to own it since....err... last month...
uh,call me lucky but hey,i deserves it.
ive been working hard for this...yea,i'd rather lying starved,cut off expenses...leading to a massive series of budget-cutting...

hard times...
...when i have somethng in mind,i jst wont easily let it go...

here's the whole story...

Status:Down
currently a shoe rack until further notice.i mean,needed.

the main problem was with the virtual memory...nothing much...a few kinks...and half a thousand variety of threats...not to mention worms...
so that's that :D

so beforehand,i got two options.

1:upgrade the pc
2:get myself a freekin new pc

i went to XXXXX PC repair n assembly...it cost bout RM860 for him to do the job...
one word:

trust me,i did comparisons,reviews.A LOT.n it shouldn't even supposed to reach RM600.
i mean,hey.middle end processor+motherboard.no graphic processor unit.does it have to cost that much?i guess the rest were just service charges ==

n IF i decided to take that,it would be

core 2 duo 2.4 Ghz
1GB RAM
Graphic:none.exception to shared integrated cache.
HDD:120GB
n all the setting from my old PC...

naah not worth it :d

the next day,i went to Jusco Bkt Indah.
(fact:ive set my target a month earlier.gotta do all the specs review 1st)

there was it,a HP compaq CQ3020L...still quietly sitting in a corner,waiting for its owner.
just then i found out that there's no operational system included.only the hardware.
nevermind,i can do all the installing myself.wth the OS,the overall cost would be bout RM1100...i did a great saving...

so its not a gaming PC,but a balanced system.plus,the Dolby 5.1 DTS+Realtek HD audio sound system is truly awesome.
and i'd get to play it on my 32" LCD Tv too ^^ too bad i cant plug in the home theatre...haha
